    Most people surely knew?

Actually, practically the whole crowd stayed to give him a send off - one of the most emotional moments I can recall supporting Rangers.

Was abit of a hairs standing on end kinda moment weren't it Blue - glad it weren't just me

Proper send off and tbf to him well deserved. Repeating myself I think but the guard of honour was a nice touch.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

The bloke came here as a 5th choice CB and stayed for 6 months and we're treated him like the messiah. TOP player but how far we have fallen.

Most appreciate players that put in effort for the team and do the job expected of them, Nelsen done both.

I agree, It's a pity that he feels he has to stop playing now, but I guess after 18 years the knocks have forced him to do so.

He has been outstanding for QPR. Particularly since Redknapp arrived, but even before, he was still by far QPR's best defender.

Wish him all the best with Toronto and who knows, one day he may return to manage QPR.

He came as 5th choice, but once in the team, he showed the rest of the defenders how to defend and became 1st choice.

His commitment to the side from the 1st crunching tackle against Walsall (those who were there will know what I mean) made him stand out.

I am not so sure about conceding a goal, however, if a defender shirks a challenge you can be sure that there will be groans and comments (and rightly so).
