I think this is the appeal because his permit has already been turned down. I don't think you normally have a hearing for a work permit.

I cant imagine our appeal being on the ground of, "but we are really, really shoite and need a popular SK player to ensure shirt sales dont drop" will be succesful but who knows?

I'm keen to see how or indeed if 'Arry will be able to shuffle his pack.

I doubt the appeal will be successful as one of the requirements is having played 75% of South Korea's international matches over the last two years which I don't believe he has. The whole system seems pretty bizarre to me - the lad is being offered a lucrative contract with a Premier League club so it's not like he's coming here to line up at the local Jobcentre.

QPR are continuing to negotiate with Anzhi Makhachkala for defender Christopher Samba and with Toulouse over a £10m deal plus Samba Diakite for Etienne Capoue.
