  • Anyone know when verdict in Yun's appeal due?

You know who I'm talking about, is it a foregone conclusion that he won't get his work permit, and if so have we time for an appeal considering its only two further days to go until the window closes?

I think this is the appeal because his permit has already been turned down. I don't think you normally have a hearing for a work permit.

He will attend a work permit hearing for the South Korean left-back Yun Suk-young on Tuesday in the hope he will be granted international clearance to join from Chunnam Dragons. The 22-year-old has been watched regularly by the QPR chief scout, Ian Broomfield, and has attracted interest from Fulham and Liverpool. "We'll put the case for him," said Redknapp. "Ian saw him play three times at the Olympics and there are a lot of clubs in for him."

Anyone know when verdict in Yun's appeal due?

I cant imagine our appeal being on the ground of, "but we are really, really shoite and need a popular SK player to ensure shirt sales dont drop" will be succesful but who knows?

I'm keen to see how or indeed if 'Arry will be able to shuffle his pack.

The transfer window and the 25 man squad is a crock of
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

How long do these things take? Can't be still deliberating, or perhaps theyre just swilling the last few drops of a rather lengthy liquid lunch....

I doubt the appeal will be successful as one of the requirements is having played 75% of South Korea's international matches over the last two years which I don't believe he has. The whole system seems pretty bizarre to me - the lad is being offered a lucrative contract with a Premier League club so it's not like he's coming here to line up at the local Jobcentre.

they say no news is good news, but in this case, as it was last year with the Brazilian striker (prbably shi** player anyway) my guess is that it is bad news.

Yes, and he will be paying 40% tax on his pay rather than claimimg cash off the state

QPR are continuing to negotiate with Anzhi Makhachkala for defender Christopher Samba and with Toulouse over a £10m deal plus Samba Diakite for Etienne Capoue.

They have been rebuffed in a £2.75m bid for Fulham's Brede Hangeland while West Brom want £4m for Peter Odemwingie.

QPR last night agreed a fee with Porto for defender Rolando, 27, who will have talks today.

The west London club have been granted a work permit for South Korea left back Yun Suk-young.
