sorry to hear that mate Ive got a staffie myself........hes called Major,you can often hear the wife shouting "Major Off!!" at the poor mutt when he gets near the furniture.....gets me everytime!

Death of a long standing pet is very sad, I am sure those without pets dont really get it.

Thoughts go out to you PK - I have a house & garden full of animals and go through it quite regularly (shouldn't keep taking in all the villages strays!). Got a 9 year old rescue boxer whose back legs are starting to go and make the most of him every day now!
