I am flabbergasted with what some people are saying about Rowan Vine.

you have a player coming back from a terrible injury has played bits of games in a season only 6 matches old and yet a good proportion on here want rid,

I can only assume that some people here have seen very little real football, Vine is an excellent football player at this level perhaps even outstanding. He needs our support and will pay it back in spades as he finds his form again. some people on here are so fickle its beyond belief and others I have to assume have never really seen football played live on grass.

He will be an ideal foil for Simpson and even 3/4 fit should start.
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

    Sorry...the oracle has spoken.

So...are you honestly saying he wouldn't benefot from a short term loan?

I'm a huge fan of Vine and don't want to see the back of him, however I feel a loan would benefit both parties. That's not being harsh...in fact it's being fair.

totally agree mate...i think most fans want to see him back to his best...he is not going to do that playing bit-parts...loan would be good for him.

Probably better off on loan Jim Magilton likes to slaughter our injured players in his post match press rants if they have had a dire game.

Think there are other things wrong with Vine at the moment other than his continued rehabilitation.

If we're talking about getting players fit for matches, we may as well loan out the whole lot for a month.

Who'd have thought that our players wouldn't be at peak fitness after a pre season of park kickabouts with non league and lower league opposition eh?

I don't think people are questioning his ability. Its just that we should not have to carry passengers until they get their fitness back . we need players who are up to speed and firing NOW!

Think or know? if you think so, then explain what you think and why you think it, don't leave that sort of cryptic "I'm ITK" type bs.

i reckon players coming back from injury need the professional help of a sports psychologist.it is human nature to avoid doing the things that hurt us.

                            It wouldn't surprise me mate.

I have a feeling that there are many players at the club who are disillusioned and downbeat at the way things are going. Also with the crowd getting on their backs all the time (albeit neccesary in parts) things are not easy for them out there.

The worst thing is...the fans know more about who's better in which positions that the management.

i dont think vine is suffering from a lack of confidence - he doesnt seem the type to suffer from low confidence.

its fitness. which he wont get by playing 20 mins - but then we cant afford to give him loads of time as we need wingers playing who are fit enough and will score/ create chances. so a loan is a good option.

but then again he cant be much worse than what is playing now eh?
