Queens Park Rangers are continuing talks over a deal for Porto defender Rolando while they also track Etienne Capoue and Younes Belhanda.
The 27-year-old is interested in joining on loan but Porto would prefer a £7million permanent deal.
QPR defender Anton Ferdinand is in talks with Turkish side Bursaspor over his potential loan move and manager Harry Redknapp is continuing his pursuit of Toulouse midfielder Capoue and Montpellier’s Belhanda.
Redknapp was at Parc des Princes on Wednesday last week to examine defensive midfield transfer target Capoue.
Having missed out to Rubin Kazan in the pursuit of £9.6m Yann M’Vila, the busy QPR manager is looking at another France international in an attempt to strengthen the midfield he fears is too lightweight to withstand the rigours of a Premier League relegation battle.
Arsenal and Spurs have both been offered Belhanda, 22, who has come close to joining Fenerbahce earlier this month.
