    Fernandes willing to leave QPR

QPR chairman Tony Fernandes says he will leave the club if he cannot "fix" their problems.

The R's are bottom of the Premier League and lost 4-2 at home to League One MK Dons in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Fernandes said on Twitter: "Many fans attacking me. Doing our best. As I said we won't stop trying.

"As I have said many times I take all responsibility and will face the music. Always spirit up. If can't fix it I will be first to go."

The Malaysian businessman took over QPR in August 2011 on their return to the Premier League.

In January 2012 he sacked Neil Warnock, the manager who led them to promotion, with the club sitting one place outside the relegation zone.

His replacement, Mark Hughes, kept them up on the final day of the season.

The former Wales boss was then sacked in November after the club failed to win any of their opening 12 Premier League games, with a large proportion of his 11 summer signings criticised.

Hughes was replaced by Harry Redknapp, with the former Tottenham boss implying he would not spend much money on transfers in January if they were adrift at the bottom of the table.

However Fernandes then allowed him to break the club record to sign striker Loic Remy from Marseille for £8m, with his wages believed to be £80,000 a week.

Remy missed the Dons defeat with a tight hamstring.

Any fan would be foolish to give Fernandes abuse. He seems like a nice chap but I can't help the fact that I think he has been very naive in trusting Mark Hughes with so much money. If he does leave the club then it's us fans and our club that will suffer, not him. I think he will leave if we go down, and if he does then the respect I have for him would go right out the window

Agreed. He is so naive. But again a very nice guy it seems like. I would be gutted to see him leave.

I have been a QPR fan for 30 + years and i don't understand this attitude of i want QPR to remain small and even some who want us in the lower leagues. I want us to be the best we can and to have these people in charge is a dream, i have never seen such expenditure on players and plans for the club. We have the most ungrateful fans in the whole of football. I think they should take a little surf around opposing teams boards and read the anti QPR/Fernandes sh*t on those and realize how lucky we are, the jealousy out there is incredible, everyone wants us gone it's time we stood together instead of attacking our own.
                      This, all day long.
The berks who dream of us being an 'AFC Wimbledon,' are completely barmy.
I want Queen's Park Rangers to have a bar of what Chelsea have enjoyed these last 10 years or so.

Business in the aviation industry is completely different to business in the football industry. Fernandes and co. splashed the cash on high-profile has-beens thinking that they would secure our status in the Premier League without another relegation battle, but unfortunately their plan looks as if it has backfired. I hope Harry can do the impossible otherwise I fear our club could be another Portsmouth

                          • He don't need to leave QPR, he needs to leave off Twitter.
Also, a common mistake made by many Britons, is believing that just because someone has been successful in one sphere of business, they can be in others.
                            Horses for courses.
I now firmly believe that TF needs to get better advisors, knowledgeable in football matters, as he is definitely lacking in experience.
But, the longer that TF toughs it out, and once he gets better advisors on board, the more experience he will gain, and the more positive, results will become.
