his whole vision which he stated was to build proper foundations for our football club!

all i have seen is big name signings on bigger contracts and 30 somthing year olds being brought into the club.

along with big name managers, where and what exactly is this "long term" "ambition"

where is the mega stadium? where is this state of the art training ground? where is signing players for the future? (exception magri)

all this **** has been going on for a year and a half now! how much more short term fixes are people going to except!
You idiot , he has had to try and fix it short term . Why would he go and build a new stadium in the position we are in . Spending loads of money on a new training ground ect if we get relegated that would be ridiculous . You watch if we stay up this season we will not go back down. Tony will do all these things but at the moment all he can do is buy more bloody players as the old manager who he trusted got in a load of plebs.

so much negativity on this site it drags you down in the end!

It isn't Tonys fault, he may have made mistakes but he is trying to put them right. In my view his only mistake was sacking Warnock but thats history now and we have to move on.

Sorry Hitman but this is the problem with fans this attitude you've got. The training ground is on the way....the stadium? is only going to happen with Prem stability...to get prem stability he has backed managers, and the last manager who was backed to a man by supporters i might add has failed big time with his recruiting. Yes i know you'll now say who hired him but as i say we all thought it was a good appointment. As for not sacking him soon enough i actually thought to give MH a 1/3 of the season was fair, and if the players he brought in were up to scratch Redknapp would have got even more out of them but they weren't. This is not down to the board

On a side note - the new training ground and stadium do in fact seem to have gone a bit cold over the months where the results have been bad. (Insert: "To be perfectly honest" if you are MH) I think it is understandable that you can´t focus on long term projects like training ground or stadium when the short term goal of staying in the PL is really in jeopardy. That is why TF and the managers have tried to fix that by getting players who have played in the premier league or international level (they forgot to build a squad during that process). That explains the relatively high aged player influx.
The plan originally was to build on the squad so that we could advance in the league but it did not work out as planned so at the moment TF and PB and HR as well has to put out the immediate fire of staying in the PL before they can attend to the bigger picture of a new stadium and training ground (which I believe was postponed a bit). They never said anything about getting young players in to build a side which could make it in 10 years time - but I can agree with the people that say that we should have adopted a more sensible strategy and hired more hungry players (a bit younger that what we did get) in stead of big name players all around. I guess that IS what you get by hiring big name managers. Had we stayed with Warnock we would have gotten different people in the squad but not sure it would have made a difference....

                just my opinion buzz!

No i have not or will not #### him off on twitter.

i like the guy, i commend him for splashing the cash. but on his manager hirings and player buys (park and suk) my opinion is a critical one.

if he has long term ambitions why is he saying he will leave if we fail?

i dont want fancy stadiums or training grounds. all i want is a squad of players who are willing to fight and a charman to say he will finish the job before he walks away. we have none of that and thats why im peed right off

Could someone point me in the direction of the "attacks" that Fernandes has received? I see the odd bit of mildly worded criticism on Twitter. But I've literally never seen anything that looks like a personal attack.

I don't think any football chairman should use twitter, this things will only drive them away.

Can't you block people on twitter?

Personal insults at Hitman for voicing his opinion? not sure thats right. Might disagree with him but at least he is voicing his.

Better he does it on here than tweeting Tony.

The points he makes not exactly wide of the mark either.
