  • Remy: I dreamt of being a barman

LOIC REMY hopes to be the toast of QPR fans this season.

Yet the £8million French international striker, who is pulling in £80,000 a week at Loftus Road, dreamt of being a BARMAN on a sunshine island.

Remy, born in a Red Cross hospital in the city of Lyon, revealed: “I saw myself running a bar with my wife on an idyllic island with sun, clear waters and coconut trees.

“We would spend the day in shorts and flip-flops with grilled fish for every meal.”

    Remy also reveals how:

-His father left when he was a kid.
-Fans nicknamed him Casper the Ghost because he kept going missing in games.
-He was handed a shuddering footballing lesson by Ashley Cole.

Forget a central defender or midfielder, our next signing should be an exorcist.

Is it me or has anyone else noticed how many things that have come from remy in interviews recently that sound like he won't be very good?
Says he has a mental block
      Goes missing in games
      Gets owned by cashley
Didn't really dream of being a footballer

      ...slightly nervous...

He can still do that, play in shorts and have fish after the match. He can even serve the drinks during the interval in that members' bar that Isleworth is constantly unhappy about, maybe he will improve the quality of service there.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

                    Exactly!

I personally think he thinks people will expect him to be a saviour as he scored on his debut, and so he is letting all these things out so that our expectations drop.

I was quite impressed with him last week as it happens. Thought he looked sharp. I reckon him and Taraabt could get a decent understanding between them.
