  • We have some hope

At this point last season...Wigan had 15 points and stayed up comfortably, they had played 23 games like we have...

Took a look at the average points needed for survival...

    2011/12 - 37 (What we got)
    2010/11 - 40
    2009/10 - 35
    2008/09 - 35
    2007/08 - 36

Divided by the 5 seasons, comes to 36.6...So although its not an exact science...37 points could probably see us safe. Which considering we have 15 games left and 15 points, requires us to win 7 games and draw 1.

Our record under Redknapp reads 11 points from 10 games...with that bad run when he first took over...

    I think its doable...keeping the faith :D

At exactly the same amount of games in the season, they had played 23

And they had a run in that was far more difficult than we have

the vital thing will be we go for the wins rather than holding out for 'something'......wigan won at man u/arsenal n were robbed at the s cum because they were bold in their approach!
          you know nothing john snow!!!!

We can always try presenting that evidence to the FA and who knows they might accept it and not force us to actually play the games....

I think we'll stay up, but i just cannot see us winning 7 games (I know that doesnt really make sense) . Can anyone else hand on hear see us winning 7 games??

We need 2/3 wins back to back to have any chance.

                EXACTLY!

Remember Wigan last season? in their last 12 games they won 8 and drew 2 lost 2 and stayed up.

This is why I say it isn't over yet

it looks impossible but why there is still a chance we must still believe , who thought we would get 4 pts from chelsea and spurs

Not over by a long way. Thats why we have to all get behind the team at home.

Honest, did you guys see us against WH? We were run over and really lucky to get a point. If HR isn't able to strengthen with at least one cb and two classy midfielders I believe we're doomed!

Wigan didn't have a barrel load of dead beats on massive salary's but then again they didnt have a Remy.

Personally think it might take 40pts to stay up

We have to win against the teams just above us so we can climb over them rather then hope they trip up.
