IMHO we were down after the Saints game at home, down in November!, i would be more than happy to be proved wrong but it is a massive ask.

I'm fed up of these people who think we've already been relegated. We haven't. Fact.

Just shut up and get behind the team FFS.

I don't understand why we can beat Chelsea away and look like we deserved it and draw with West Ham and look like a pub team who wins the football lottery by taking a point.

Because Chelsea try and play nice football into the box, West Ham hoof it in from any angle.

It's why we look better against the big teams. Easy to defend when players try and play through 2 banks of players.

Trouble is we have to play more teams like WHU than Chelsea!

I'm not so worried about teams attacking us, I'm more worried about us breaking other teams down that sit back and defend.

Although with the form Adel was in at the weekend, I'm sure he could make teams pay for that.

We haven't come across many of those yet in our predicament.

We stand every chance in staying up.
But it's all on them games in March n April, we must get all 3 points against the ones we are battling against to stay up

Playing like Real Madrid???? Must be that 1st half against Tottenham at White Hart Lane........otherwise I am clueless....

Last season we played so well in many games - remember the newcastle, villa, man city and blackburn at home - but got only 1 point or none. This season we play like **** and under Harry we fight but play like **** most of the time and we get mostly 1 point or none (around christmas). I miss the games where we actually deserved to win but just lacked the goals.....that would have made me optimistic, but the opposite situation we are in now......I have a hard time being optimistic about.

The good news is there is probably not far between the squad quality now and back then so IF we add some more quality before the end of January I will start believing again :-) In HR I trust!

Not sure how the OP has come to the conclusion that "Realistically we are still going down" (no offence kangaroo) - but we are 5 points from safety with 15 games to go - including (as Brighton says), 7 against teams directly above us. We are far from down so I don't understand this defeatist attitude amongst some of our fans.
A month ago you admitted we are going down....

We still have 45 points to gain. No need to win Manc, we still have 42 points to gain, no need to win Norwich, we still have 39 points to gain, no need to win Swansea we still have 36 points.....
Personally I'm still positive, but we must start winning those mid table and under teams. Not winning (and playing like sh*t) an off-form West Ham was a worrying thing. Norwich game will be a similar turning point to what was Southampton earlier. I won't lose faith in Harry, but if we haven't got three more points from next two games, it's adios, I'm afraid.

There's a number of people on here who have had us relegated for weeks now. They come up with their oracle-like statements such us, 'we're already down', or 'we're already relegated'. What a load of claptrap. WE ARE NOT DOWN YET! Yes, we're in a terrible position, but WE ARE NOT DOWN YET!

When the maths say we've been relegated, then yes, you can say so, but until then, please keep your inaccurate statements to yourself. Bloody surrender monkeys.

Hard to argue with such a well constructed argument
