That pre-supposes that all the teams above us will win. That is about as realistic as it gets on this thread

That was the biggest error and he left us short of quality in key areas.

Hughes may be the most expensive mistake Fernandes has made.

Let's hope Harry can work miracles.
        I think this is bullsh*t.

Although the owners and players and perhaps PB have to take some blame, the real disaster will have proved to be the staggeringly incompetent job done by the multi millionaire Hughes. Cost the club a fortune and all but destroyed us in the process. However, I think HR will stay and we'll be back up next year. We may go down, but we won't finish last which we would have done with Hughes.
Stop being negative mate, there is 45 points to play for!! that is a lot of points and teams above us will lose games.

Remember we have Zamora, Granero, Hoilett & Diakite to come back into the squad as well.

I have a really good feeling about this and I genuine say that we will stay up, it will be close but we will get a run of results starting after man city.

Think it was a two and a half year one mate

It´s Harry who is negative ATM. Hence we shouldn´t we? We all want us to stay up and who knows; Hill urged his gaffer to not make too many signings in this window..
But to honest; I thrust Harry the most.

No he's not, he's actually really positive and knows we can beat the drop. I think he has found it harder to attract players. We certainly have enough in the side to compete especially when all the players are fit. Like I said there are a lot of points to play for and we are going for it.

Not sure how the OP has come to the conclusion that "Realistically we are still going down" (no offence kangaroo) - but we are 5 points from safety with 15 games to go - including (as Brighton says), 7 against teams directly above us. We are far from down so I don't understand this defeatist attitude amongst some of our fans.
true the gap is not too big with 15 games to play. QPR do have to play a lot of games against sides in the bottom half, but so far this season, including under Redknapp, they have struggled against thes sides.

They drew with Reading, Norwich, Sunderland, Wigan and Villa and lost to Stoke, Southampton & Newcastle. Redknapp has managed against 3 draws from 4 of these games. So I can see why some are not too optimistic about staying up.

I think they can but a lot will depend on a good replacement for Nelsen and Remy scoring regularly. Perhaps a fit again Zamora linking up well with Remy can make a big impact too.

Mind you thinking of it if any team deserves to go down its us, when you think they stabbed Warnock in the back and wouldn't support him when we got promoted, and in 3 years we've had 45 players.... that is a ridiculous amount and a joke.

We've already played a large amount of the top teams, home and away...other teams have very difficult run ins....a result against City would go some way to giving us a chance...

Exactly, although i'm not expecting anything against City I would say Feb-April will be when we have a run of results.

                          Everything to play for

Ideally we win the next 15 games.

Problem is in isolation a draw against Man City wd be a fantastic result. But we need some wins. 4 goals scored in our last 5 games - and this on our "good run" - show how hard that is going to be.

Those 5 games being Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, West Ham away, West Brom away...not a bad return...
