but if Redknapp stays, have faith we'll come straight back up. Certainly no '15 year wait' this time. If he goes on the other hand, or by some miracle we don't come straight back up, it wouldnt surprise me if we have to wait 30 years for our next promotion to the Prem. Although the owners and players and perhaps PB have to take some blame, the real disaster will have proved to be the staggeringly incompetent job done by the multi millionaire Hughes. Cost the club a fortune and all but destroyed us in the process. However, I think HR will stay and we'll be back up next year. We may go down, but we won't finish last which we would have done with Hughes.

HR will only leave if he gets a better offer. This did not happen before he came to QPR. Partly because he has specific requirements the he wants to be in South East England. If we fail to stay up, not sure that this would make it easier for him to find another Club. Also he signed a four year contract.

Realistically there is absolutely no way of knowing if we'll go down or stay up. It's like this time last year when we had 100's of posts with people doing various results predictions and points tallys.
We just don't know whats going to happen so chill out and wait and see.

Not sure how the OP has come to the conclusion that "Realistically we are still going down" (no offence kangaroo) - but we are 5 points from safety with 15 games to go - including (as Brighton says), 7 against teams directly above us. We are far from down so I don't understand this defeatist attitude amongst some of our fans. You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

2 wins in a row and we're out of the bottom 3, other results permitting. See Reading.
3 wins and a few draws, we are mid table and no one talks about us as relegation candidates anymore. See Norwich. See Sunderland. See possibily Southampton in a few more weeks.
Teams in midtable can go 1 win in X and people dont realise it until they slip slowly into the bottom group. See Wigan. See Villa. See Newcastle. See Fulham. See QPR last season.
