The bloke made a mistake. It happens.
Fans always make this mistake with how many we took to Cardiff , I think the actual figure was just over 28.5k...35k + is getting a little carried away

I personally don't like the idea of the club getting too big but being born in 91, I have never known it any other way! But did we not used to get 30k gates in loftus road in the past? I'd like to think we could get them kind of numbers again but wouldn't expect much more.

A small club, but with a lot of potential to have bigger gates as the catchment are is fairly big. In order to grow, the club needs a new stadium, investment in the team and youth set up (this is being done) and ultimately some success.

It may not be easy to attract new fans right away, but kids usually settle on a club between the ages of 6-10.
Add these to a lot of the people who have immigrated to England/London in recent years who have yet to settle on a club and QPR can attract enough to fill a 35-40,000 stadium.

If a 30-40k stadium is built, tickets are reasonable and we sustain prem status then it may change. That's a big IF I know. Currently we are a small unfashionable club.

We are the next most important team in the whole history of European fotball. Remember; we followed up the brand "Total fotball" which Ajax invented.

On the flip side there were loads of people donning rangers gear after we got promoted. A bit more success and maybe those might be bothered to go to matches if they already don't. We've all seen genres of kids grow up wearing the successful teams kits. One day I hope to see hoops outnumber all those scummers, utd and arsenal misguided lot! Maybe this year after we stay up and win the cup.

When QPR nearly became England champions in the mid seventies, our highest home attendance was something like 35k. And that was the last game of the season and one that could determine the title winners. It was against Leeds and we won 2-0, one of the goals coming from that legend Stan Bowles. I remember QPR being critisized that although they have a great team, supporters do not turn up in large numbers. That's the reality I'm afraid.
