A good solid premier league team pushing for a top 8 finish and a decent cup run every now n then.

Agree with you but that makes us sound like Fulham or Stoke

Mid table stability, well run, increased fan base prob of about 2400 turning up every week to watch. really cant see us challenging the top 5or7 clubs unless the Mittals decide to give it a real go like Abramovic which I doubt? and a few trips to wembley in the cups every 3-5 years
dont really think we can expect much more than this?

It would be nice to think we could challenge for a Europa league place and be a side who are dangerous in the cup
hard to see us winnng the league or getting in to the champions league, being realistic

A few relegation scraps (some won, some lost), a few promotion challenges with the occaisional 2nd tier title and a lot of hype, underachievement, frustration and disappointment.

A decent burger at Loftus Road.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I remember the early 90's we were doing ok. Top london club in 92-93 I believe?

True, but that was before the Premier League kicked in and QPR soon got relegated and 15 years out of the top flight has seen a number of other clubs leapfrong QPR. Clubs like Chelsea, Fulham, West Ham, Stoke, Wigan and now even Swansea.

They all have either bigger more modern stadiums, more experience at this level and some have more funds to spend.

My feeling is that QPR have blown the chance to develop thanks in no small part to Mark Hughes and his poorly planned 1st team squad, perhaps a poor management style, and negative tactics. Harry Redknapp needs a footballing miracle to rescue the situation...and some more signings, especially Centre backs. another decent goalscorer would also help.

The rest of the posts on this thread at least had some hope of coming true. This one though is just plain fantasy island mate.

Established Prem club with a habit of beating the big boys and going on cup runs whilst watching attractive attacking football by players who care for the club.

A Champions League win would also be nice in the next 50 years.

Better than Fulham is minimum. Maximum is to see us finish top 4, even once.
