Manager Harry Redknapp refuses to concede defeat in his battle to keep defender Ryan Nelsen at QPR for as long as possible. Nelsen has been appointed head coach of Toronto FC.

Anybody have any idea what's going on with Nelsen?

Nothing has changed at Toronto FC, they are expecting hs arrival by next Saturday, it is odd that QPR haven't really said anything officially! I sure hope Harry has a couple of CB's ready to come in because if I was a betting man I would say Tuesday is his last match in the Hoops!

I don't think the 25 will need to be named until after the Norwich game which is one of the criteria for Nelsen thinking he can leave by Feb 1.

I just read that the competition Toronto are playing in Orlando does not start until Feb 9, so there is no reason why Nelsen should not be available for Norwich.

That sounds like a good compromise, and hopefully his new replacement will be on the bench for Norwich, and come on for the last twenty minutes when we're three up......

Hopefully Rolando. I'm guessing they are agreeing to let him go after Norwich as even if we cd have him for a few more games after that there's no point putting him in the 25.

As long as he isn't taking up a spot on the 25 man roster just to play one more match! I honestly wish he would see out our season as Toronto FC are in a massive rebuild and will be awful again this season whether Nelsen is there from the get go or not!
