I think Redknapp has got someone lined up. He said last week that we could have Nelsen for another six or seven weeks, but obviously that's not the case now. Perhaps he's already got someone and as a result, informed Nelsen that he can leave

I agree. If Granero or Faurlin was playing against West Ham then we would have kept the ball more. We've needed a new centre-back since the summer!!! Nelsen was supposed to just be a backup player to someone like Dawson, who we didn't manage to get.

In fairness mate its one bid for a CB which has gone public we dont know what has been going on in the background and who we have sounded out. I dont think knowing our situation Harry would be dumb enough to put all his eggs in one basket i.e. Olsson

I imagine him leaving on Feb 1st is to do with no point in keeping him in the 25 man squad and then seeing him leave mid Feb! Waste of a space I would imagine. Can't help but think that the club should stand firm on this one. Him leaving could have a huge impact on us staying up. Him and Hill have looked solid in the last few weeks. we now have a settled defence. Ferdinand is our only other out and out centre half and he fills me with no confidence. We desperately need 2 centre backs and we have to hope to God that Redknapp has got someone or two who are better lined up. Really hacked off by this and Nelsen despite his career ambitions is really taking the ****. This is our future at stake.
