A huge Liability and its no coincidence we do well when he is in a track suite. IMO, He can do one with Bothroyd as they both think they are better than they are.

Did you watch them at WBA away in the cup? They both had good games, clean sheet and Bothroyd was MOM. Maybe Harry Houdini can even work his magic on them as well

these self appointed so called experts here, who genuinely believe they know more than a top professional football manager, is laughable. The categorical statements like "Harry is getting it wrong" without a hint of self - mocking is unbelievable. You must all be in the wrong profession!!!!!

Yes I agree, plus agree with Dave. The idea that we beat Chelsea away, got the same point against spurs as Sir Alex and drew to hammers away plus a cup run is somehow conclusive evidence that Arry is tactically deficient is just wonderful reading.

We've got a team with limited ability and Arry has stabilised it and brought confidence within weeks of joining but some still moan. Most on here thought after seeing the January fixtures we would be cut adrift but we are still hanging on.

I think somehow Arry must of looked at what he's got which ain't much to be fair to the geezer and set his team out accordingly. He's obviously spending every spare minute trying to get new recruits in and hopefully once we can get out of January without already being relegated we've got games against Norwich and Swansea with a strengthened squad plus a less daunting march and April.

The idea that so and so was taken off, that he's making the same mistakes as at spurs or the formation should of been this is just brilliant.

A sub standard West Brom team in the Mickey Mouse cup seems to make our **** players superstars. Lets hope Pepe did not see that game, as they will be of to Bayern and we will be relegated.

So whilst west ham was all over us people would have preferred redknapp to bring on more attacking players -_- if he would have done that we would have lost for sure. Then people would be fuming so what's better drawing or losing because by the time west ham starting coming at us there was no way we was going to out beat them going forward.

Which he was - near on everybody at the game will tell you so. Doesn't mean I think he's become our saviour overnight, just that I give credit when it's due.

Just to confirm what Matty says, Bothroyd and Green were the absolute stand out performers against WBA - either one of them well worth MOM.

I think you hit the nail on the head there. The reality that the current squad is not a top6 team just waiting for the correct tactics. It needs reinforcements to arrive in January to survive.

Yesterday, QPR lost the midfield because neither SWP or Mackie can keep possession and this resulted in constant West Ham pressure. Faurlin on the left and Park on the right would have been better at keeping the ball and allowing Taarabt the space to create chances for Remy. The way West Ham defended high, QPR could have scored 2 or even 3 goals.

Problem with that is neither Faurlin nor Park have the mobility to get close to the forwards, and make runs in behind the defence. Especially when pushed so far back. We'd have ended up with Remy, a massive space, Adel, a massive space, and two banks of four on the edge of our area. Ale is no winger - there's a good case for playing him or Granero in the middle though, alongside Mbia.

The basic problem is playing Derry doesn't work when Adel is in the centre behind a striker.

Adel doesn't get on the ball as much, and Derry is forced to cover a lot more ground than he would when Granero/Park/whoever is playing in front of him.

That is correct, but for some its better if you blame Mackie and SWP. At half time with our nose if front, Adel or Remy should have come off and Park should have come on to press and close down. If we were set up the same as we were v Chelsea and Spurs in the 2nd half, I think we would have got the 3pts.
