I put connolly on my list but actually id drop him from the highest earners list as we are his first big break in first team football and theres no way he would be on the likes of routledge who are established at this level.

I also really dont think vine is on 20k, id put him more at 10-12k.

Parejo i can believe, but id also be willing to bet that was partly paid by madrid.
How much do you think Fulham were paying Cook a week do you really think Cook would take a 40%+ pay cut

Spoke to someone at the Forrest game and I was told that Mahon was 16k a week.
Opinions are like A******s, everyone has one, but nobody wants to see the other guy's.

The plot thickens you have to ask what Mahon was on in the PL for Watford....Cook is on 18k a week I've heard that from a few different people now as well.

Couldn't care less what there individual wages are as long as they earn them.

Club and players business. Not mine.

I wouldn't tell anyone here or elsewhere what i earn.

If these figures are true then our board need to have a serious word with themselves. Those kind of salaries are just not sustainable on Championship TV revenue with an average gate of 12,000. The worst thing is it's the fans who end up paying for it with overpriced matchday tickets!

Classic thread this - based on the very sound "someone told me....." we all start arguing the merits of salaries no one has a clue about!

The average wage at QPR is approx £6,700 per week amongst the squad. It would be wrong of me to discuss individuals players wages, most importantly because I could get someone in serious trouble. There are 3 players earning just over £10k a week BASIC WAGES. A lot of contracts were recently re-written to the benefit of the club, BUT favouring the players if performances and results were good. A lot of bad press about Gianni at the minute but I WILL ADD he is ruthless when spending the clubs money. If I could discuss further I would but lets just say when it comes to contract negotiations Gianni may offer long (ish) terms but peanuts in salarys. Some players with bonuses could break £1.1million year if they have a great season!

I thought Flavio gave out the contracts.

I didn't know Paladini gave out the contracts. Did he give Agymang a 4.5 year contract?
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Re-writing contracts to the club's benefit...I wonder. Lots of upside for the players if they achieve, but what happens if they underachieve? If we end up struggling at the wrong end of the table, what incentives, if any, remain to encourage players to get their fingers out and keep the club out of trouble?

All negotiations are carried out by Gianni. Flavio has the final say and signs everything off but Gianni runs the club on a day to day basis. People don't realise how much influence he still has on the club and the fact that he also is still a major shareholder. Agyemang has 2 seasons left, with his contract end date 24th June 2012.
