  • Will 37 points be enough?

Just looked at our remaining fixtures for Feb, Mar, Apr and May...

4 pts in Feb; 5 points in Mar; 9 points in Apr and 4 points in May = 37 points ( doesn't include any v. Man City)

    Looks doable.

How many must win games have we failed to win this season? The words have lost all meaning.

We beat Chelsea away, so its about how many not where we get them

37 might be enough but it also might not.

I know this is not points but looking at the table and how teams have played this season and what they have in their locker I think we can finish above Reading, Villa and Newcastle.

Reading although winning two on the trot let to many in.

Villa are really in a rut and I think Lambert will be to stubborn to put his experienced players back in and they dont seem to have any money to spend.

Newcastle are in their own little world and think their too big to get drawn into a battle, if you ask any of their fans they think this is a blip and they will pull away I think there in for a rude awakening.

Southampton sacking Adkins and putting a manager in with no English experience nor does he speak the lingo may have also tripped themselves up

37 points? It was enough last season so who knows....

I think the chopping block will be anything below 34 pts.

Totally agree with this. His interview after the game tonight suggested exactly that. He is dying to prove he is right and that stubborness could cost him and them dear

Definitely some winnable games, BUT it won't just be about us, it's about how those around us fare and we can't account for Reading winning 2 games from behind, or Villa winning at Liverpool and nearly beating West Brom today, or Wigan's annual run of 7 wins from their last 9 games, including Man Utd, etc. (alright just last season at ManUre, but they always seem to have what it takes to pull clear at the death.)

We HAVE to win at Saints, Villa, Reading and they all have the upper hand from the games at LR.
With others picking up points every week, EVERY game is a MUST WIN. West Ham today was the same, especially when you take the lead.
It just feels easier to take if we don't beat Man City or United or Liverpool.

This is the worst top flight QPR team I have ever witnessed; going back to the early 80's (I'm still quite young!) to now. We are embarrassing to watch bar the odd bit of magic from Adel.

Every game is a 'Must Win'. We havent got the luxury to sit back and think we don't need 3 points every time.

Remember there are problems above us like Newcastle lost yesterday, wigan lost, Villa only 1 point etc. They are not winning either or pulling away, I have confidence that we'll be fine.
