Just watched it and the post match press conference afterwards on Player. HR is not nearly as cocky in the press conference stating it will be difficult to keep us up and we need to have players that are bold enough to play the ball around and not just defend deeper and deeper throughout a match. At the moment he seems to rely on Zamora, Remy and Adel to do all the scoring magic which is risky taking Zamoras form into account. That said he did between the lines say that we need more new player that can play the ball around and are bold enough to do so even under pressure.....get Pirlo in I say lol :D
He did also say that he could and would have gotten Cole if we had not dragged the deal on for 3 weeks - not sure who he blames but he mentioned also that Mvila was taking too long and other clubs are coming in when they read about their availability in the papers (correct HR). We simply have to do deals quickly HR said.

Arry needs new signings too, Adel was the only one who was able to control the ball under pressure, the rest just gave it back.

I am amazed we have not got people by now as each goes by time runs out, if TF was going to spend like he has, its silly to waste games and weeks.

Arry is doing what he can to put pressure to sort it, as it is quite clear with comments like "we lacked ability" we have heartr but thats not enough.

True our passing was awful and we gave the ball away so many times I lost count.

IMO I think Livermore, M'Vila, Odewingie and a centre half will do it.

I watched it too. I thought he seemed pretty gutted about something?! Maybe he'd just seen that reading beat newcastle? Realising that this is going to be harder than he thought maybe 2 weeks ago.

M'Vila would have controlled the game at 1-0 never afraid to give or recieve the ball, With all the bad buys we have made in the last 18 months this is one we should not miss out on. Class player who can pass and cover's the ground too. Would make a major difference to us and could provide Remy with even more chance's as we cant rely on Adel in every game.

He was probably worn out! I watched that game and I was on tender hooks, god knows what it must feel like to be a manager.

He was partly speaking like that because of the banter between him and Moose who he knows is a hammer. But no doubt he is confident too and has a few things up his sleeve.

Correct, but we should also keep schtum about who we are signing until they've signed on the dotted line.
I appreciate the press love to speculate, but where do they get that from ?

There has to be a period in the season that we will win back to back games,Reading,s'oton and Wigan have had there victories and ours will come soon now the confidence is improving and when it happens we will on the same points as them or more and then it's game on
