If Villa win today we are really go to be in the **** (as if we weren't already). Pretty much guaranteed nothing against Man City, will be a long way back from there.

It's just the constant knock backs we seem to be getting.
Going from 4 points, to 6 points from safety, is very demoralising.
One step forward, two steps back.

We won't know what's good enough until the end of the season. Everything else is just bitching or blind optimism.

it won't be enough if we get relegated. There is still 45 points up for grabs so who knows

yeah people r over doing our pt we needed to win today
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

We've also got to play Arsenal at home too, as well as Everton away if you count them as a top team

yep west ham are average, chamakh is average, we need to win games against teams of that level. Someone said we need top 6 form well we certainly need to beat mid table sides.

west ham deserved the point, so cannot moan, but agree with the mid table comment..

Oh boy.....Aston Villa deserves to win this game big time.....and we never looked like winning today.....we should have lost really.

Next week we will be pretty much isolated when Villa beat Newcastle at home and Reading beat Chelsea at home - they are flying Reading at the moment.
We will with 120% certainty loose to Manchester City (sorry but the players will not believe we can win it and HR will try the defensive approach which we cannot do if we cannot do it against West Ham). All in all that will leave us 7 points adrift will all the other relegation contenders more or less with equal points around 21-22 points. This begins to look like last season when Wolves became isolated......we need some serious business in the last week of the window if we are to turn this around. We need big characters who can step in and demand the ball - we are so lacking a leader in the midfield.....
