Yeah, i think it's a prem requirement nowadays, to avoid needless game cancellations (after all it can ruin TV schedules and that's what drives the revenue), however, an earlier post on here said they have said they are having problems with it.... very conveniently given their form and injuries.

When was the last time we called off a game in the Prem? Granted, the Palace game got called off a few years back when it literally fell out of the sky in bucket loads but beyond that, since they re-laid the pitch (including putting in the new under soil system and re doing the drainage) we have pretty much played games when scheduled.
Any way, more to the point of course is Saturday is at Wet Spam - where the snow fall has been similar to W12, but with them having a game on Saturday, the under soil has been in operation - bingo, no snow on the pitch and the areas around the ground all fully gritted and clear according to my business partner, who has been at the ground this morning for a corporate event. In his opinion, unless the weather goes mad the game is NOT at risk. The only proviso is, if it does go mad, there is no assurance that the surrounding areas will be deemed safe by HSE/Police and whichever other bureaucrats made such decisions. The pitch itself is fully clear and will continue to be clear unless there is an avalanche (not forecast).
I will be pulling out the thermals and heading off to the game and would suggest anyone else with a ticket plans to do the same#standuptocancer
