Vine should go to a league one team on loan until christmas, then come back match fit and filled with confidence , it could be like a new signing

He will either conciously or sub conciously be concerned about the strength of that leg, it will take time for him to trust the bone, we need to be a bit patient with him.

Gallen did his knee as did langley and carlisle. Vine is a very different injury and there is no reason for him not to be as good as before once he has got over the injury in his head.
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

He hasn't started a league game yet coming on for 20 mins every game is not going to get you sharp he needs a run of games. He's been out for a long time and you probably wont see the best of him for a couple of months yet.

To be caught offside twice for being lazy and walking back is criminal as a striker.

I rate Vine and I think the main problem is that he needs to be playing 70 mins not 20mins. I think we are being to cautious with him and he won't get his sharpness from a brief run out. Fitness is temporary but class is permanent
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Low confidence, low self esteem, and poor coaching.........

But then again, I can say that about the whole squad.

                    It can be done.
                    Yes, but not straightaway.

I thought Vine, Ephraim and Taarabt were starting to look a lot better second half.
They all need time to get used to playing together (Vine and Ephraim were good together before his injury) and I felt Vine in particular was starting to grow in confidence. But he needs minutes on the pitch and I fear on Saturday will be on the bench again -- that's REALLY going to help, isn't it?

There seems to me that there is a big problem at our club. Most of the players last night didn't look interested.Theres no pace about our play everybody wants 5 mins on the ball and then get tackled or give a bad pass.Theres no cohesion between players, poor movement off the ball everyone seems to be waiting for things to happen instead of making them happen. There was no passion last night until near the end of the game.Accrington showed us how to pass it around with pace.Things behind the scenes are not right and its spreading to the pitch. Our players are on to much money and are on to longer contracts they don't give a F*** about us, at the end of the game I only saw Ramage applaud the supporters the rest just walked off.:anger:

This is why Briatore @ co hasent bought that many players yet. We never know wheter Buzz, Cook, Rowlands or Helgusson ever will play up to their full potential again. This is of course worst case scenario. But if it will take this season before the players mentioned are fully back in business the board will buy replacements for them in the January window.
To be honest, we are now in a quite tricky situation.

On the other hand, it could very well be the case that players are dissatiesfied with a thing or even two within the club. The fact that they doesnt cheer the supporters after the matches is alarming in that respect.....

                          My view only.

Actually, Vine and Ephraim did as well.
Ephraim applauded both sets of fans.
So did some of the Accrington players (applauded our fans), whilst most of our players couldn't wait to get down the tunnel.

Who was our captain (sorry, it's too hard to tell)?
Leadership by example -- if the captain acknowledged the fans, perhaps some of the others might.
