What they may be overlooking is the fact Newcastle are in freefall, sold top scorer Ba, Collocini wants out, and murmerings of unrest from Ben Arfa. Looking at it like that we dont seem a bad proposition.

Re: Harry Redknapp
«*Reply #5 on:*Yesterday*at 11:42:59 PM »I don't hate him.The hate shouldn't be laid blame at Redknapp for this situation. It's easy to do so, and at first I was the same.*He has an owner, in Fernandes, that is willing to show ambition and intent to get the club to the next level. At the moment, that next level is obviously staying up (and I believe they will stay up); but then progressing up the league as the seasons go on. So therefore, coupled with the fact they're offering Loic a higher salary, they are also able to offer something to the play that we can't - Redknapp would have made Remy feel like the best player in the world, and would have made it an easy choice for him to decide to play for QPR, and buy into what his plans for the club. The real hate shouldn't be shown at Redknapp, it should be shown to the people at our club for not being able to sell the fact a player will be playing in front of 50,000 fans every other week, living in a city that eats, sleeps and breathes football, and has an clear plan for where the club is heading. QPR sure as hell won't be contend to secure Premier League football each season, and languish in mid-table year after year - yet that's the impression I'm getting from our club.I see it a bit worrying that a club that is rock bottom, has an 18,000 stadium, can attract the likes of Remy and M'Vila over a club like ours - and paying players a lot more won't be the sole answer

I think us being in London has a lot to do with it plus you dont get the pressure of being at Gooners or Chelsea. So cosmopolitan, last year was a great year for GB because London dominated. Take London out of England and you would end up with Belgium.
Foreign players playing in London can also probably hang out with many fellow countrymen playing with other London clubs.
Suppose choosing a club is like choosing a uni, if you want vulgarity then go to Newcastle but if you want a bit of class then come to London.
Even Ant and Dec, Geordie born and bred and will never leave geordieland because all our family and friends are here and fame won't change us.....

Arry is clever, whatever happens in the transfers, at least he's got a plan of trying to get talented European players to us by selling us a portal into the premiership which could then lead to players that do well to catch the eye of bigger teams like Man Utd. It's a clever ploy as the players get to live in a nice part of the world, great salary, no pressure of a big club and potential to move on to one of the massive clubs if they do well.
I can kind of understand what Arry is trying with the limitations he has at a club like ours, I never got MH and Riggs plans.
So as said even if it doesn't turn out well, at least Arry went for it.
