I had a photo of me on one going across Lake Huron to watch a game at a friends cottage; it got published in the QPR v Watford program a few years back (The lengths fans go to to follow The Rs); I think the program is worth a few bob as the game got cancelled but they still sent me a program :pleasantsuprise:
Almost died the first time I tried out on a snow mobile; I borrowed a friends gloves as I didn't come prepared, part of the way across the lake, I decided to pull a glove off as it was too big & made controlling the throttle a slight problem, my thumb stuck to the throttle & I went screaming across the lake, after about 10 miles of screaming like a girl, the snow mobile finally ran out of petrol
Another glory hunter,we win 2 games and they all turn up,only follows us because we have Ned Zelic playing for us,what next Korean fans just because of park???????
There's a few of us R's fans in Perth who have made the move to Oz. We don't often get back but we atleast have Foxtel showing every Premier league game live.
Looking forward to West Ham. I think we will win!
Cheers
Neil
My uncle is actually an R's fan in perth, owns "the Good Guys" in cockburn
Stayed in Applecross, ran out of money so set up a little landscaping business with my mate, but had to do a runner 'cos we were **** and this woman was after us for killing her best plants. Had a few good nights out with some diesel fitters who were down from the wild lands up around Broome and Derby. They had wads of cash and just wanted to blow it all on booze and hookers.
Had some good times in Margaret River and Yallingup and had to bail my mate out 'cos he was getting a pasting off a Canadian who was half his size. Still in touch with that mate who is forever known now as glass jaw.
