  • Are we missing John Harbin ?

Seems to me that the players are no where near as fit as they were at the start of last season... maybe we were foolish to let John H go ?

    Absolutely.

If he was at the club, Buzsaky, Vine and Connolly amongst others would be much fitter and sharper. I don't think weak opposition in the friendlies has helped the players either.

I think we are missing him. Until the players are 100% match fit and can last the full 90 minutes their performances will suffer. At the moment so many of them look knackered before half time. The loss of Harbin could end up being a greater one than the loss of Blackstock.

If a prem or top CCC side lost their performance/fitness guy i think he pretty much would have been replaced immediately. Unfortunately we are not run very professionally and it will cost us badly.

I am pretty sure someone has replaced him. Mean't to be some big fitness guy. No idea who he is called but I agree we looked much fitter with John Harbin and I miss his write up in the programme!

Well I had 1 of the new pies. Much better than Pukka but unfortunately Helguson is eating all the clubs profits
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

The players were very fit last season, but they were still crap in a lot of games.....so it's not all down to fitness issues................prehaps they needed someone to give them a good kick up the Rs............good on yer Jim.

I don't think that is the point.

Buzsaky, Vine, Rowlands & Agyemang are all returning injuries that caused them to miss many games last season. Connolly, Leigertwood, Faurlin & Balanta have also had injuries recently.

Harbin would have overseen their training needs to ensure they are back to peak condition. No replacement means these players are struggling to regain their full fitness and true form.

It isn't just last night's performance that is in question. That performance soounds more to do with off field issues between the players and the manager, rather than fitness.
