lot of nonsense on here. he helped spurs to the CL quarter finals and while he ultimately lacked the technical quality to constantly compete in a top 4 side, he would be a great signing if the fee wasnt too high. This is a player who Spurs beat Man Utd to the capture of just 4 years ago. Much better than Diakite and more Premiership-ready than M'bia who isnt up to the pace yet. Loan signing would be ideal
I find this sentence a bit ridiculous considering Palacious has barely played a prem game for 2 years.
Also, if he is so good, why have Stoke overlooked him persistently..... If it is all down to repeatedly being injured throughout that period, which i verymuch doubt, why would we want him anyway.... have we not learned our lesson with Dyer?
Tad harsh on Mbia. Guy is a very good player but has had some very poor games granted. He has also been superb in other games especially the two games we won this season. Unsung hero v Fulham and excellent at Chelsea. He plays with different midfield partners every week as well.

wow, it's like this season never happened. Bosingwa, Cisse, Zamora, Park, SWP would have made a great team four years ago too.
And the guy has barely played in two years. How does that make him more 'Premiership-ready' than a guy who has been in our team for a few months now, and played regularly at the highest level in France prior to that?

Agree... i rate Mbia highly and think he's come in for some unfair criticism of late.
