1) Buzza awful. Magilton was right to slate him. It wasn't a matter of fitness - he found red shirts as much as he found hooped ones tonight. He struggled to show any skill whatsoever. I couldn't help but chant "overrated", because despite his goals - he looked just that. At least I didn't boo, though.
2) Tarrabt changed the game at half-time. With him on the pitch, we looked much better and deserved to go 1-0 in front. He attacked the AC players - although he still has to learn to pass.
3) Great goals from Hogan and Routledge. Word has it that Routledge wants out of QPR - he didn't exactly go crazy after he smashed his strike - his 4th of the season - to make it 2-0. But then again, it was Accrington Stanley.
4) Accrington's supporters were a credit to their team tonight. Despite the fact there were only 30 of them (or thereabouts!), they never shut up. A steward tried to get them to sit down, and failed miserably. The applause for the Stanley goal was as much for their fans as for their team.
5) Heaton was great. Commanded his box really well. Could work on his distribution - but isn't that an issue with most keepers?
6) The Mahon- Ligertwood start meant we had little creativity in midfield. For a game like this, JM should have started Routledge.
7) We need two strikers. Agyemang and Vine were jointly useless.
Cool Apparently we might be signing Marcus Bent. Oh joy.
9) This wasn't an awe-inspiring performance, but the bottom line is is: we won. First home win of the season. Hopefully we'll follow it up by the first away win of the season in sunny S****horpe.
