So what's all this about a 4 mil release clause then. Can't make a lot of sense of all of this. Apparently Olsson also has 'reservations' about coming to QPR. Surely not ;-)

ESPN explaining the buy out clause. Apparently it kicks in this summer, until then there is no buy out clause. Also says he is understood to have reservations about joining a club bottom of the league (don't they all...?). Sounds to me like he is using this to attract an offer from Arsenal.

Does the buy out clause mean that in the summer a club can buy him for 4 million or would that we in addition to a transfer fee. If so not sure wh West Brom would not accept 5.5 m. if they are likely to lose him in the summer for 4.

I can only imagine they are planning / hoping to persuade him to sign a new deal before the end of the season? Especially if they get a European spot.
