  • The 5 Games To Wembley Thread..Match Report

Cannot remember a more boring first half played from a QPR team in many years. Very lethargic, not professional and the players must have felt or they needed to do was turn up. How wrong they were. To be fair, we were outplayed and could have easily been behind 1-0 or even 2-0 at the break. Stewart played an awful back pass to Heaton, who could not control it and this almost let in one of there strikers and just before half time, they had a great one two on the edge of the box which resulted in a shot just wide.

These cup games can always produce upsets and we should have prepared ourselves much better. Vine strolled around the park, typified when asking the linesman to get the ball for him, instead of getting it himself at 0-0. Ageymang's confidence is simply shot to pieces and Stewart tonight had a very poor game. Connolly had to cover for him many times. The goal to get us into the lead was a good cross from Ramage and it was hogan who lobbed it over the keeper. Routledge came on and looked dangerous and scored near the end after beating 3-4 players in the box. Injury time saw Accrington Stanley pinch a goal which was throughly deserved applauded by everyone in the ground. There fans did not stop singing all through the game and that was the main highlight of the 90 minutes. Apart from a couple of shots from Tarrabt and Buzsacky that was it for us.

We need a kick start to the season and it looks like we will have 2 strikers in by the weekend, hopefully with the defence and midfield we have, we can at last start to see some goals. The negative thing for me is that are way behind our performances this time last season after beating Carlisle United and it will take a big effort from players and manager to get us back on track.

We've not played well now in the last 2 games, but at least we are capable of better and thats what I will be looking for at S****horpe United.

Well like I said, I think he is on borrowed time TBH, if we do not improve and win the next 3 league games, then I think I can see a sacking coming.....

Hope I am wrong as I think he should have until christmas at least, or I would like to see him have the whole season, but like you said, confidence is low and we are well below performances to this time last year, so unless we improve I can see the axe and another waxworks of magiltons head in our trophy cabinet next to Sousa!

i thought liegerwood was mom again for the poor git has to come so deep to get the ball as this rolling the ball to the full backs is killing us teams are working us out and pushing up.
for me the only player that cares about the shirt hes wearing is ramage!!

I think the likes of Vine & Ageymangs careers at Rangers could be coming to an end.

I don't think things are looking good for Gorkks at the moment under JM and I sense Buzsaky might not be here come xmas.

Not a knee jerk response to tonights performance and comments but I have funny feeling JM will be looking to change things and I don't think he does sentiment

will be treading on dangerous ground tho as the board don't want to spend and our squad has no strength in depth to deal with a player clear out.

I would get rid of Mahon & Rowlands and go for Ben Watson if he becomes available again.

We need leadership in the centre of the park.

egham, you talk about Mahon and your right he never gees anyone up, but you have a defence where no-one speaks a word either. Stewart is dead quiet, Connolly wouldn't say boo to a goose and Borrowdale looks nervous to say anything. Ramage is the most talkative along with Hall, but they don't speak much either.

not sure any1 would take them mate if im honest to many low rate players who dont seem to care on VAST wages at OUR club,
and its starting to knark me off......
dont care who we sell if im honest think the things coming stale, no 1 wants him but players like dj campbell will take pride in wearing the shirt.
sorry to say it but people like helgunson are money motivated and couldnt give a moneys.

                          we need some leadership..

at this stage to save ourselves id look at moving out, mahon and legs to bring in some leader type midfielders.. we deffo need somebody like roy keane to kick players up the ####.. but u think magilton would do that..
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
                          Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"
