Queens Park Rangers are weighing up a deal for Zulte Waregem striker Habib Habibou.
The 6ft 4in centre forward has scored six goals in 13 games for the Belgian club this season and has been in London this week in the hope of securing a move.
Habibou was born in Bria, in Central African Republic but has a French passport. The 25-year-old had trials with Brighton in 2011 scoring in a friendly against Brentford.
Meanwhile, Fulham are fighting with Bruges to sign Habibou's team-mate Junior Malanda.
The 18-year-old has been outstanding this season and has attracted Premier League scouts but Fulham are the first to make a move. They made two offers on Thursday but are still short of the £4million asking price.
However, the Belgium U19 midfielder, who can also play in defence, is eager to come to England and play in the Premier League.
Anyone think we have pulled the short straw AGAIN?nsa/cia spy on this..............┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐
