you can understand it at least he is showing some passion.. there was no way he could dress that performance up as anything other than what it was...all the players that the messageboard managers have been demanding start , started and everyone to a man was a disgrace tonight.

Exactly, it is easy for us all to be armchair football mangers. JM and JG see much more than us during the week.

every man was a disgrace you say...so why purposely single out players....its a team game not individual.

perhaps..i think the behaviour of some of our so called fans right in front of the press box won't help either!

I didn't hear the press conference, but some of these players need a good kick up the back-side. The good ones will take it on the chin and put in an improved performance, the others who will talk among themselves should be weeded out and shown the door. At this stage its hard to know who they are, but the manager should get the respect from the players. Its all become a little too comfortable for many players, Jim is just being mugged off by some and in any walk of life if you are a manager, you will get individuals pulling the wool over your eyes and others will try and give you 100%, you have to find out who those people are before you can move on.

Just to add, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know who they are. Just look at there body language.

don't you have to earn respect as well.....keep changing line-ups will not gain any at all..........but agree with kick up the backside....but behind closed doors....shouldn't wash your dirties in public.

He didn't if you listend mate the question put to him was why was Gorkks taken off? Jm said "Gorrks was taken off cos he was having on of those games but it could have been anybody"

Then went on to say "international players should be able to pass the ball"

Is this how fergusson or wenger go about getting a response out of their players?? Its completely unnecessary to slate a player in a press conference, slate him in private and drop him if thats how he feels.
