Just heard cup replay has moved to Tuesday announced this afternoon. Well bloody great, group of us have arranged transport, time off work etc first thing this morning and now this. Understand it will give us an extra day before Spurs game (which can't make because can't change work, thank you Mr Dyer for scoring after umpteen years) this idea must have been thought of in advance without a single consideration for some poor saps called supporters. Even if we can change, money has already been spent and will now cost more. Pi***d off with FA Cup, Premier League, FA and all the crap that clings to it. Ok Spurs game not the clubs fault but this is, many thanks Mr Beard look forward to seeing you on SSN where you seem to spend most of your time. Rant over.

There is not extra day before Spurs because the Spurs game is the week before.

jane you know he mean't west brom, please don't be pedantic.

Regards to the game being on sat, I am delighted because it now means I can see the game.

Guess it will please most people as monday isn't ideal and most people work in the week so I expect a sell out now it's sat, so good for the club
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Also good becasue we play before the other relegation battlers. If we nick a win it puts more pressure on them as the gap will only be 2 points. If we'd played after them, as was the case for our Chelsea game, and they'd got points, then it adds massive pressure on us as the gap becomes more and needs closing to retain parity.

He doesn't mean the West Brom because he goes on to say he can't go to the game and he already said he is going to West Brom. I was wondering if for some reason he thought Spurs was the next Saturday instead of this coming one.

Very good of Gipper to admit to his mistake, I thought.

              Don't you, Janemelanie?

It's ok Jane you have the whole moderation team on your side. They just love to have a pantomime villain, thing is if it wasn't for posters that call a spade a spade like me, they wouldn't have an officer badge on here.

Calling a spade a spade is fine WeAre.

But you called it a fork.

Probably means that bringing the replay forward a day to Tue (after it was initially announced for Wed?) gives us an extra day of rest before the West Ham game on Sat, 19th Jan. Has likely already bought non-refundable advance train tickets for Wed.

In any case, the point that football fans are treated like dirt is, unfortunately, very well made.

I prefer to call it a shovel.
