  • The Great Escape.

I am still not sure we will do the great escape. After the win at Chelsea, many are very optimistic we will escape. Well, I, a long time QPR supporter hope it will be the case. However, watching the highlights against WBA, it seems that we still make those silly mistakes. We find it very difficult to score as well, and these are the most imporatnt ingredients of a winning team. HR may bring some new players to the club and they could be the difference. But on the Chealsea showing, I will play tactically the same game against any other opposition. You make sure of a point first, and take the chance when they come your way. We did it against a high flying team.....why should we not make it against the rest.
Another thing. Chelsea were very critical of us because we defended very deep. Well, last season they beaten both Barcellona and Bayern to win the Champions League playing the same way. They did not critisize those tactics then!!

We need to play with that kind of passion and organisation because against chelsea we looked solid.

The problem is we follow it up with another poor performance.

Couldn't make the game yesterday but the stats say we had 2 shots on target in 90mins, so same old rubbish because we need to be doing allot better than that if we want to win a few games.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Thatīs a bit odd. Itīs actually the modern way of playing fotball. BUT sure it requires that the team act disiplined . ITR, Hopefully, Nelson will be replaced thoroughly.
Sure, we need a few strikers to make the right moves to bring others into play aswell.

The odds are still heavily against us avoiding relegation but the reality is that we don't need to turn into Man U. to survive. We are only 5 points from safety now (or 6 if you give Soton a point for their game in hand) and there is a good chance that an average of 1.5 points per game, or even less, will do it. That would get us to 38 points, which should at least make it interesting. But we need to start picking up those points NOW.

Good shout on the 38 points. Looks like 38 plus a reasonable goal difference will be enough this year. Sunderland, Norwich, Newcastle and Wigan fighting it out. If one of them loses 2 games it's curtains.
