Ive stayed away lately purely because there isnt much defending I can do when the team continue to perform poorly/lose...
However of late (especially yesterday even with a weekend team) I felt we could get a result.
In PARTS it wasnt great to watch, but again we showed some signs of improvement. We deserved a draw, I think if we had the same team out as we did against the Scum then we would of won. Our main struggle was the final ball, but WBA set themselves up with a brick wall at the back making it hard to break down. Granero, Adel, and Mbia look nice together... My only issue yesterday was sometimes we gave the ball away too cheaply.
- We retain possession very well for long periods.. (NOT ALWAYS - As we sometimes still struggle with 5 yard passes)
- IMO we now defend set pieces a lot better, and in general our defending is very solid. As shown against the Scum (Btw what a massive result)
DJ - Should have scored with the free header he had. But IMO he is a good asset to have back at the club.
1. Because he loves QPR
2. He works Solid
3. I think him and Zamora (When fit again) Could be a fairly decent partnership
Bothroyd - Sadly didnt show much in the 45 he had and therefore I think we should let him go. Simple. (Im not going to #### him off)
Nedum was unlucky on the goal, it took a horrid deflection and of late he has been superb (As has Fabio and the rest of our defence)
We need to strengthen, we can all see that. We need a decent CB (Especially if we lose Nelly) A more younger Shaun Derry (Who had a good game against Chelsea) and of course a damn good goalscorer.
We are getting there, slowly but surely. We again proved we can pick up points anywhere so expect the unexpected and enjoy the rest of our Prem season!!!
