Can't understand why Granero was subbed and Park wasn't. And Adel, again, was played way too deep. Dudley did enough to merit a squad number and, while it pains me to say it, Bothroyd was decent enough. It's a mystery why, with his technique, he's proved such a bad buy. He might, if no one comes in and there's a shirt spare merit a place in the 25. The real problem today was that we- as ever- created so few chances. This is a failing of the team as a whole, not just those up front, and especially the midfield. Clint, I think, played the most telling and penetrative passes today. That says it all. We are really, really, really going to miss Ryan Nelsen.
I'll have to re-watch their goal but it can't have been long after Ned came on so wouldn't have been into the game, especially at CB. The only reason Park stayed on and Granero went off was because Harry was evaluating players and wanted to be sure Park was poor. As it turns out Park was better second half but thats because he didn't have Granero doing his running! Not sure I agree with Bothroyd getting a shirt unless we're resigned to relegation. Zamora is better, as is DJ and Cisse. That's not to mention a CF signing or 2

No left foot. Can't play LB if you can't go outside on the left and cross from the left. He endlessly cut in.... Good positional defender, mind, when compared with Traore. Better when switched to right back. It was his great pass that set up Dyer, wasn't it?

Come on dale it's a business.

Can you tell me another club that has allowed ST holder in for free?

Exactly not 1 and it would be like an alcoholic running a pub, not a good idea. Agree prices could of been around the 10 pound mark however
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

A cb playing lb who is right footed. Disaster written all over it, unless you are fabio but his pace and a good left foot helps.

He wasn't disastrous; only contributed nothing going forward. Whereas the left footed Traore was a disaster against Liverpool and several other times this season. A LB ought have a left foot but has to be able to defend. Traore can't defend. Fabio, if no one else comes in, is better than Traore at LB. But Dyer did well there for fifteen mins. And he scored....

I might have been abit harsh tbh as I kind of already had my mind made up he was $hit before the game :sorry:

Wasn't that bad but in all honesty I wouldn't want him in our starting 11. Would have Traore or Fabio over him at LB, Hill & Nelson over him at CB and Onouha over him at RB.

Arsenal do. My mate on his season ticket gets group stages of CL and I think first two rounds of League cup as part of their season ticket

yeah we should also add, that arsenal are the most expensive side in the country to follow.

So in a sense they are giving with 1 hand and taking with another. I know an arsenal fan that has stopped going because of the prices, think you're lucky to get anything for under 60 quid so I don't think arsenal are a good club so promote.

Cheers. Thanks for clearing that up. Think the guy would really benefit from regular appearances. He needs, mind, to be coached out of slowing down the game when in possession. And to pass earlier and more often. A much better player than Park or Diakite.

Ben Haim is a right back/centre back thought he did OK being played out position in his first game back for ages, shame Traore wasnt on the bench at least,as we had nothing down the left all game!! DJ had a good chance with about 20mins to go free header shame he didnt take it would've been to see him continue his form he had on loan with Ipswich.

Yeah I thought he looked fine first half , wanted the ball and never shyd away . Thought he looked very keen to impress but he's never a left back . Thought dj looked a real love wire but as for park ..... Oh dear . Didn't seem to want the ball and when he did get it fell over . Get some longer studs ffs
