  • QPR make £8m move for Lescott

Sun (yes I know...) are reporting we have offered £8m for Lescott but that he is holding out for Everton - if we fail we will go for Distin.

QPR make £8m move for Lescott

QPR have made an £8million move for Manchester City centre-back Joleon Lescott.

But Lescott is stalling as the 31-year-old England star is keen on a switch back to former club Everton.

If Lescott goes to Goodison Park then Hoops boss Harry Redknapp will target Everton’s Sylvain Distin.

Lescott would be a great signing but I can't see it happening. Man City would want to keep him. Nevertheless, I'd be happy if we signed Distin

where r we getting all this dough from? The mittels must be upping there contribution, or are we going the pompey route?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

They'll all be putting their share in, as they will have up to now.

I hope not. We don't want to be signing him on a permanent deal because he'll want two times more than Bosingwa! A loan deal would be the sensible option. That said, I think City will want to keep him

I was hoping for Kompany but happy to take a silver medal on this one ;)

Would prefer just to go outright for Distin, much better defender imo and wouldnt command as high a fee or wage as Lescott

Typical Saturday rumour. + I won't even look at the sun since the Faurlin story from Shaun Curtis. What a priiick
                        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Distin is a little more realistic. And you're right Northolt... I would say a better player. Not sure what you're getting at WeAre? I don't know what paper knows him best, but it seems they're all spouting nonsense.
