Well some talk up the midfield but the league table really doesn't lie. CM is a vital part of the spine of the team the club is paying through the nose for players who have not delivered - getting better value for that money makes sense on and off the pitch.

Diame is a good player and will sit in front of the back four and offer better protection than anyone else at QPR now.
I think Redknapp would like to play with two holding midfielders to keep things tight at the back to allow The other four attacking players more freedom to attack.
