Uninspiring, but we're not going to be signing much better, not in our position. He's better than Ferdinand at any rate.

There is certainly hypocrisy around. Some fans believe we should never question a manager we like. I think that is nonsense. Good managers make mistakes, Harry has made some huge ones in his career. Just because he is our manager, we should not all blindly agree with his every decision.

At least we can be sure that he's not coming here for the money....

Haven't seen Ben Haim play before, people are saying he's better than Ferdinand so maybe he can rotate with Nelsen/Hill every few games.

I really hope he plays tomorrow. I didn't want Nelsen signed so this is a good chance to shine
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

People are saying he's better than Ferdinand because Anton is the flavour of the month hate figure at QPR.

I don't particularly rate Anton, but it's a pretty specious argument.

                This is very true.

Ben Haim is not a great signing, by any stretch of the imagination.

                    Ben Haim gets QPR contract

QPR have signed Israeli international defender Tal Ben Haim on a short-term contract which runs until the end of the season.

It's short term, and he has experience not to mention he can score from corners and free kicks put into the area. I guess that's what makes it a reasonable signing.

Let's face it, QPR will not be signing cb's like Lescott or Dawson now.

We probably have the biggest group of helmets supporting us. Can't wait to moan/whinge/bitch on anything.

It's true Ben Haim is not a good signing, but QPR are not going to sign better CBs like Dawson or Lescott now.

Bosingwa has been sh*t and clearly uninterested when he has played. Not forgeting his refusal to sit on the bench.

Dyer is nearly always injured so cannot be relied on (I wouldnt even include him in the 25 man squad if other options are available.

I think we need some realism here chaps,

It's hard to attract top defenders to a relegation side, or any player for that matter, plus bear in mind the January transfter window is the hardest time to purchase because of a) teams don't like letting their best players go b) prices are overinflated due to the time of year.

Ben Haim is only here for 5 months to just see us out and help us survive, he's free and remember we only have 3 centre halfs in the club! We can't expect Hill and Nelson to play the next 16 games everyweek so in my opinion I think its a good signing for what we need.

We don't have many options and he is the best stop gap player available.

The combined age of our two only decent centre backs is over 70! A short terms contract and someone with experience who Harry has had training with us for several weeks is no bad thing. We are not in a position to sign world beaters so let Harry do his business - TBH is cover for two old men and yes he's another one in the twilight of his career but half decent cover for the old men who have been played non-stop for weeks.

Oh, and if we had signed Cole and Chamakh this board would be in melt down - so what if wet spam signed those two?

Not being ecstatic at Tal Ben Haim signing is a sign of helmetry?

                                Really?
