think you have misread this one guys. no way wd the sun make up a quote from harry, a key contact of theirs. i think harry really was approached by an agent. maybe not the player's main agent but there are loads and loads of chancers out there. demba ba has supposedly five different people claiming to represent him. as harry makes clear in the quote not a cat in hells chance of him coming to us but lots and lots of silly stuff no doubt being talked about for 30 seconds behind the scenes.

Of course this aint guna happen
My guess is that his agent (anybody know if its that snake Kia?) is using us a little bit of bait to get the "big boys" intersted. As if Sneijder, one of the worlds best & most sought after midfielders, would even consider leaving Inter to come to us. He turned down Man Utd in the summer (or was it the summer before?) because he wanted £250k a week.Last edited by MattyRangers; 04-01-2013, 01:14 PM.You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Bear in mind he is quite injury prone - I don't think he's played since October, so at 28 any prospective buyer would be mindful of that. He's also desperate to play in the premier league but would have to take a wage cut as most clubs couldn't afford what he's on now, especially if it drags out to the end of the window which would be quite likely. Playing in London would also be a draw.
