We can't carry on with Tarbs, it came off yesterday, but I don't think it will week-in-week-out. He won't get the goals, he is not a striker, and the shooting is way too wayward. So will it be DJ, Jay or Cisse? Or maybe even two of those up front? Because draws are no good for us, we need wins, and a WLWLWL is a lot better than a DDWLDL.

So who do we play up front now?

Depends on the system. I think we look far better with 3 in the middle, which would mean Taarabt having to play wide again, where I don't think he's half as good as he is in the middle off a striker.
If we go with Taarabt behind a forward for the West Brom or Spurs game then I'd go with Bothroyd, purely and simply because we need a target man to win headers and hold the ball up to take pressure off us and to hopefully play in the others. But doing that means we only have 2 in the middle, which makes us too easy to cut open IMO.
Tough one to call.

Adel up front can hold the ball up with his skill and strength and bring others into play, as he did to set up SWP for his goal. This worked well yesterday because we played quite deep and held a very firm line, then used the counter-attack whenever possible. Worth reminding people too that it was SWP who won the corner that lead to his goal following one of his runs down the left. But Adel, DJ and Cisse must all come into the reckoning now, then BZ when he returns.

Dj. will only stay at QPR if he is given a proper run in the team(I read)He Likes it very much at Ipswich.
Hence, it Could be that he will return to Portman Road.
Fingers crossed that he will stay with us, though.QPR
