  • Nedum & Fabio

Take a bow gents. Everyone was a hero tonight and run themselves into the ground but both full backs snuffed out everything and they created nothing from out wide. We funneled them into the centre because of these two guys were we had numbers to block. Top performance top tactics

Have to admit I was particularly impressed with Fabio tonight.

Agreed. So pleased for Fabio, especially.:pleasantsuprise: He does seldom get a mention at all. It´s not his fault that he has come to club in chaos.

PS. Sorry Matty, I didnt spot you comment. But anyway, I do agree..

I commented about these two in a post on the Taarabt thread as it was great to seem them both play so well. Onouha been great in last 2 games now against top teams so he is starting to become the player we thought he was. Sounds horrible, but now his mum has passed and isn't suffering with her illness it is probably a massive weight off his shoulders and allowing his football to become his main priority again and its showing. Fair play to the lad.

As for Fabio, he's class and like a little pit bull round people's ankles in a flash. He has a great work ethic and quality in defence and attack.

OUR BEST BACK FOUR was on the field tonight. I've knocked Nedum this season but tonight he was mustard.

Not been his biggest fan at RB but solid on Sunday and very good today.

they were good tonight the whole defense because they were tight by the tactical they learnt from harry.
on the other hand, you can feel that the age did his work on derry! a simple move from oscar and co let him on bay.

Yup but sometimes strong will and experience outpower the age gap

Yep agree. Nedum has had some nightmares for us but last two games has looked top drawer. Also covered in the centre and won some crucial headers. Really hope he can build on this.

Both pure quality, I hate knocking our players which I have done esp with Nedum, but what a game both had, well done lads!! As for Cesar I thought he was awesome and that save against Tores Jesus what a save. Can't pick fault with any of them not after that win.

Fabio was a very close 2nd for MOM just behind Adel IMO. Traore should be nowhere near team after that performance. I thought Derry was very lucky not to cost us a few goals with his sloppy play but don't want to be negative at all well done lads

Fabio is definetly better than Armband for defending and getting stuck in.
