Would You try and Loan Ben Watson??

I know we have a wealth of midfielders, but this mid-table medoicrity shows we are not good enough?

We have Rowlands, Legs, Faurlin and Buzz, but surely the others are not for the level we want to reach? Mahon, Albereti and Hogan are 3 shirley? I'd load those off, for Watson wouldn't you?

Lets just say we get 2 strikers in, I would still loan Watson with a view for a permanant. I know he comes from the franschise Base, but this kid is just what we need.

We could offload many fringe midfielders we have.

Three simple reasons we should go all out to get Ben Watson:

We lack leadership, we lack creativity in the middle, we lack goals from midfield.


Before we build Faurlin up to be the next big thing he need time and games to settle. I think with this in mind a midfield with Watson, Rowlands and Buzsaky is strong, creative and will score goals. Routledge on the right, Taraabt/Ephraim/Balanta on the left and a pacy striker (Simpson) up top and we will score goals.

Watson is far better than people like Ledge, Mahon, Alberti et al.

again you are right mate...personally i couldn't careless who he belongs to...all i worry about is QPR.....base don't bother me in the slightest.

Yes, of course.

IMO a fully fit Buzsaky is the best midfielder in this league... but I would swap any of the others for Ben Watson.

Ship out at least 3 and get him in.

We might have "lots of midfielders", but I have lots of socks... most have holes in. And a new, better pair is always most welcome.

I don't think all these loans will solve our problems....

We've pinned hopes on simpson, and now looks like watson.... I don't think any will do any good TBH.
