Notts county have done enough to convince a premier league player to drop 3 divisions while we have not managed to attract a good premier league player. Flavio Briatore should realise that money is not enough. If I was a good player, I would not be interested in joining QPR as I do not see signs of ambitions. Pellicori (not Serie A player) and Faurlin (why £3.5m?) are enough examples.QPR fan since1987

Cant get too carried away about County. Campbell has maybe 2 seasons left in him and if he picks up an injury before that he could well be finished at his age. Either way, he'll be finished long before they make it to the Premiership.
They can be linked with Ronaldo and Rooney for all it matters, as we have seen, as soon as money allegedly becomes available you get linked with every man anbd his dog. Sadly, so far we seem to have go the dogs but even so they'll only be the flavour of the moment until the next team picks up some backing.
Good Luck to them though.2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!
2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....
2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....
2015/2016, average at best.....
2016/2017, same old, same old....
2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!
Its the hope that kills you!

Pete what makes you think that QPR will get there within the next 2 years?
The Board will not pay for the players QPR need to win promotion. They didn't have the enterprise to offer a big name manager the job, but opted for Dowie, Sousa and Magilton amd relied on signing youngsters on loan.
County's owners have donated £millions (not loans) and shown real ambition to attract Ericsson, Hughes and now Campbell to the club (he could stay there for at least 4 sesaons and do for them what McLintock did for QPR).
QPR's owners have spoken of better things and aimed high with words.
Yes, they have pumped money into the club but they are doing it in small doses, which in the long term will gain nothng and cost more.
Spending £5M last season on perhaps Watson, Earnshaw and Morrison could have seen QPR going up, instead they opted for cheaper loan options and then spent around £1.5-2.5M in January to play catch-up. And so far have spent around £2M or £4M (if you believe the hype) on Faurlin and Pellicori, as if they are going to guide QPR to promotion. County will win League 2 this season.
Next season the QPR Board will do the same thing again, whilst County will win League 1
The following season County or QPR?
I suspect QPR's board will spend around £2-3M, whilst County's owners will spend £15M to persaude players to join from the Prem and some from the top leagues in Europe which attract less crowds than the CCC (i.e. France, Holland, Belgium and Scandinavia - non Champions and Europa League sides).
