QPR set to snap up Arsenal youngster /merged thread/
Personally, I'd give him a full 90 minutes tonight then loan him to a league 1 side. League 1 has 6 games between now & the end of September at which point I'd recall him. As others have said he needs minutes & going to L1 gives him a good chance of this. I just hope that if this is true it's to get him back to his best & not to off load him......... providing he can get his form back a little. Think it would also give Hogan a better chance of minutes which can be a good thing for the team.
vine to go on loan? yea makes sense... what has the club got as surprise for us next? Maybe we can send out buzz, connolly, routledge and cerny while we are at it. If vie goes to another club and performs well, he will end up staying there
Dando, it's not even close to a fair comparisson. Vine is unfit and unlike Connolly, Buzz, Routledge and Cerny, Rowan is not performing even at half his capacity.
This loan will be good for both parties. If it's explained to him that he is very much part of the future but not playing well enough to get the games he needs, i'm sure he'll agree to the loan with no bad blood.
[QUOTE=W12_Ranger;114597]Can't believe the hysteria about Vine, he is clearly not fit and doesn't warrant a place in the starting 11. Fact is we don't need Vine we've Taarabt and Balanta who can all play the same role and I wouldn't be surprised if he has played his last game for us. Suffered an horrific injury and he may never be the same player those are the facts. I wish him all the best and it is a shame to see one of our most talented players loaned out but it is the right decision
There is no room for sentiment we need goalscorers and with the arrival of Jay Simpson and another un-named striker makes me feel more positive about things especially having spoken to a few mates at work who are Arsenal.[/QUOTE
From seeing him play, i would say he is better suited to the wing, he would never get into the Arsenal squad as striker. At a lower lever though, he would make a quality striker.
