    He was poor today

Not sure he will ever regain the form he had at Man U

We got sold a dud it seems

Not like Fergie to stitch anyone up with players no longer good enough...

2 extremes today I thought: 1st half we was utter garbage, 2nd half he was arguably our best player - won plenty of headers and tackles and kept the ball well.

Aint half annoying how he always bl00dy slips over though!
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

At United he always started off really slow each season. He usually became an important player for them towards the title run-in.

I bet if you looked at his stats you'll find he started more games in the second half of the season than the first during his United career.

I'd like to think he can still play a role for us this season, but perhaps all those injuries have caught up with him.

thought he was plain awful yesterday, misplaced passes, falling over, giving forwards free reign by letting them walk past him. if he was ever taking the thought of retiring seriously yesterday showed him he is no longer up to the task at hand.

Realistically do any of you think he will retire?

That is what I think, he'll stay and take the money. I can't see him suddenly retiring.

He's been rubbish for us all season. Played enough games to make an impact and not done so.

I can't even remember the last time he played a useful ball: to gain yardage, to create an opportunity, to get someone running onto to it.

He really is only here to the money

                        Poor Poor Poor yest.

For me, its not a case of Will he retire. it should be he HAS TO retire.

may have been good a few years ago but now he is a truely awful player.
