Let's settle it. Is Mackie good enough for the Premier League?

OK, fair enough, we'll agree to disagree.

Out of interest, in our current dire situation do you think that removing Mackie from the 25 would either increase or decrease what must be a very slim chance of survival?

Like Mackie but just don't think he has enough ability for the prem. bad first touch, runs and dribbles in straight lines. Passings ok. Wouldn't mind seeing him turned into a right back. Least he could defend and get forward to support from deep.

naaaa, he is shhit. better get a transfer fee for him while we can. blackburn offered 3.5m in the summer. if that sum of money is still floating around then we should take it and invest into a winger/striker who can cross a ball and score goals along with being able to look up and pass.
        nsa/cia spy on this..............┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐

He's the only player out of all the clowns we have that has genuinely been linked to another team, recall in summer he was linked to Everton.
Not even lower league teams have ever been linked to any of our players, so if Moyes was interested then he must have something plus the fact he's always been playing under 3 managers.

Only last week he was linked to Foolham.

              Agree.
He doesn't score enough goals, loses possession too easily and often runs around to no avail.
Yes, he tries hard and he can't be faulted for his desire, but technically there are far better players than him in and out of the Premier league.

The only thing this poll proves is that Jamie really divides opinion.

Nowhere near good enough to start games. So he runs a lot? Big deal. So does Mo Farah so we may as well play him.

Useful sub though. His effort and lost cause chasing can bring reward later on in games.

Fair play. In our current plight i'd use him as an impact sub where he can make a difference as proven, when chasing down tiring defenders etc. From the start he is ineffective.
