Seems like the board refused to support the idea of bringing in Joe Cole. The fact that Ben Haim is a target tells me that the club and Harry have different oppinions on how to do business in this window.
To be frankly; I donīt like it.
PS. Nothing to do with wether Cole is the answer or not.QPR

One can only dream.
Pull it off Harry
Crouch signed for 10m 18 months ago and was player of the year last season, he's played all this season apart from recently because he's been injured.
Bent for 7m? Nah! Villa would be looking for at least 12m and there is no chance they'd sell him to us anyway.
Lampard is probably on around 130k a week and is still a huge player for Chelsea. It's not as if he's rotting in the reserves! He's now a squad player and has been for the past year and he just gets on with it. Harry is his uncle and people are putting 2 + 2 together and making 100!
Cole was true but he's now off to West Ham and Lescott will have the choice of a lot of clubs and I'd be astonished if he chose a relegation battle with us.
Sinclair is the only plausible one out of them for me.

Serioulsy, does anyone really believe that players like Lescott Crouch and Bent will want to or even be sold/loaned to QPR in Janaury.
QPR's best prospects are out of contract players like Ben Haim and perhaps some from the lower leagues, or 'unwanted' players like Chamakh.
I think that Redknapp is likely to have to make do with the current set of players at the club .The recall of Campbell to replace Johnson, along with a hopefully soon to be fit again Zamora will give QPR 3 centre forwards and Ben Haim will add to the CB options. Not a lot of options, but a bit better than the 25 man Hughes squad.
The squad is not that bad (yes, it can be better), just a bit unbalanced and lacking in belief and confidence.Last edited by stanistheman; 03-01-2013, 02:29 PM.

HR was sure of Cole coming to us but West Ham came in yesterday and he choose them in stead as he grew up in the neighborhood and he also apparently have told HR that he did not believe we would stay up this season......
I am very HAPPY that he did not come here. We need hungry players not injury prone players cashing in.
