A rowly type player. Being that Martin is having injury problems on a regular basis I think he'd be great on a perm deal. Get rid of Mahon and Legs. Perfect complement to a creative midfielder.

If we were to sign him it would show to us all that those in charge haven't a clue about what this team needs. Watson is a very good player and I would rather have him in the first XI then Mahon and Leigertwood but we still need goals and therefore our priority is upfront.

He's a very good player. Worth signing if possible. Might mean that we would have to offload Mahon though, as we would then have too many central midfield players, if we don't already.

If we can get loan to permanent I'd be tempted to get him and cash in on Leigertwood. He's been one the best box to box midfielder in the Championship for the last 2-3 years.

Part of me is thinking whether we actually need a holding midfielder most of the time, we have enough quality in midfield to dominate. Why can't we have two midfielders who both like to get stuck in and get forward. It's working really well for Tottenham at the moment with Palacios and Huddlestone. When one of them stream forward the other hangs back.

A combo of 2 of Watson/Rowlands/Faurlin could work really well if we give them time to click.

Unless we sell a couple of midfield players I think it would be pointless going after him...

Actually we need someone to drive the team forward and there is probably no better box to box midfielder in this division so whilst you could argue we don't need another midfielder (understatement!) he would potentially add something very important to the team that we are lacking now. He can also make things happen and score goals in addition to being a tenacious little GINGER ****.

                            Exactly.

All these players being rotated and/or dropped is only going to cause big problems with morale.

We really need to unload some players, soon.
Especially midfielders. Mahon, Ephraim, Alberti, Tarrabt, Buzsaky, Leigertwood, Rowlands, Cook, Routledge, Faurlin, Vine (occasionally on left) Ainsworth... that's ELEVEN midfielders.

At least 3/4 need to go out on loan, or sold, before we even think of bringing anyone in.

I'd offload 3 at least and bring in watson, he is that good.

                              Alberti, Mahon and Hogan
